Five in Pinellas Park open campaign accounts

(ran West edition)

Three incumbents and two challengers have submitted papers to run for public offices in the March election.

Pinellas Park Mayor Bill Mischler and council member Rick Butler both opened campaign accounts.

Also opening accounts were business owner Randy Heine and second-time candidate Ralph Marlow, who was defeated by five votes last year when he ran against Sandra Bradbury.

Heine and Marlow have indicated they want to fill the seat held by Patricia Bailey-Snook. Bailey-Snook entered the race Tuesday. Butler and Mischler are unopposed.

The filing period runs through Nov. 19. The election is March 9.

For information or to pick up filing papers, go by the clerk's office in City Hall, 5141 78th Ave. N, or call City Clerk Kathy Witherington Rogers, 541-0706.
