Lawmakers from Citrus plan listening session

The three state lawmakers who represent portions of Citrus County will host the annual Citrus County Legislative Delegation meeting at 1 p.m. Dec. 4 in the Citrus County Commission Chambers, located inside the Citrus County Courthouse at 110 N Apopka Ave.

At the meeting, officials from county, municipal and state agencies will make presentations to the delegation. Citrus residents are also invited to speak.

Seating will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis, according to a press release.

Anyone who wants to speak is encouraged to arrive early to fill out a speaking card.

"I am eager to hear the concerns of people in the county, and most of all to get more feedback on how we're doing in Tallahassee," said state Rep. Charles Dean, R-Inverness, chairman of the county delegation. "This meeting will serve as a channel for every entity, official and resident of Citrus County to express their respective priorities for us as a delegation."

Besides Dean, the Citrus delegation includes state Sen. Nancy Argenziano, R-Dunnellon, and Sen. Mike Fasano, R-New Port Richey.
