Defending champ leads

Defending Farr 40 class champion Crocodile Rock, owned by Scott Harris of Santa Barbara, Calif., and Alexandra Geremia of San Diego, edged into first at the Key West regatta. Pendragon V and sailor John MacLaurin of Los Angeles were less than two points back in second. Warpath, owned by Steve and Fred Howe of San Diego, was tied for third with Barking Mad, skippered by James Richardson of Newport, R.I.
