USF 68, SAINT LOUIS 51: Rachael Sheats had a career-high 21 points, 14 in the second half, as the Bulls ended three losing streaks while handing the Billikens (6-12, 0-5 C-USA) their 10th straight loss.

South Florida (8-10, 1-4) snapped a four-game losing streak overall, a seven-game C-USA losing streak and a 10-game skid in C-USA road games.

TCU HEADS WEST: After months of deliberating and number-crunching, Texas Christian will accept an invitation next week to join the Mountain West Conference in the 2005-06 school year, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported.

TCU expects to receive a formal invitation as early as Monday, and the athletic committee will recommend to trustees that the school leave Conference USA, according to the Star-Telegram.

The move could bring the school millions of dollars more in TV revenue than it would make in C-USA. Though the Mountain West is not a Bowl Championship Series conference, adding TCU could put the league in position to replace the Big East, which is losing three strong football schools.

South Florida is one of five C-USA schools planning to jump to the Big East in 2005.

State

MIAMI: Sophomore forward Leonard Harden has decided to leave the team.

FAU: Reserve forwards Wes Edwards and Iyke Okafor were suspended indefinitely for conduct detrimental to the team.
