Center Todd MacCulloch had surgery on his left foot as treatment for a possibly career-ending neurological disorder. The roughly two-hour surgery was performed Thursday in Baltimore, the team said Saturday. MacCulloch may undergo the same procedure, called tarsal tunnel release surgery, on his right foot if there is improvement with his left foot.

KNICKS: After 543 consecutive games played, Shandon Anderson's streak of missed games grew to two as he left Madison Square Garden because of a migraine headache 90 minutes before tipoff.

LAKERS: Kobe Bryant (sprained right shoulder) was activated and started against the Jazz. Rick Fox (left foot surgery) also was activated. Bryant had missed six games. Fox had been on the injured list all season. Brian Cook (broken right pinkie) was placed on the injured list and is expected to be sidelined four to six weeks.
