Trouble for Dr. J

Julius Erving's spokesman said it was "disappointing" that a tape was released showing the NBA Hall of Famer having sex with a woman. The tape was delivered to the New York Post while Erving, 53, is in the midst of a divorce in Seminole County from his wife of 31 years, Turquoise. "This is a tape that was made 15 years ago, while Julius and his wife were separated," spokesman Dan Klores said. "The decision by his wife's advisers to release it during their divorce negotiations is disappointing." The tape shows Erving adjusting the camera as a radio plays Sea of Love by the Honeydrippers, the Post said. The tape later shows Erving having sex with the woman. "The media is always going to be a part of my life even after I'm gone," Erving said. "I'm not stressed about it."
