LIGHTNING NOTEBOOK

MILEAGE REPORT: The four-game road trip that wrapped up against the Penguins and included games in Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary totaled 7,488 miles. The team will travel 11,171 miles in January.

FACING OFF: Entering Tuesday, left wing Dave Andreychuk had won 54.7 percent of his draws in the 12 games since center Tim Taylor broke a bone in his hand. Center Vinny Lecavalier had won just 40.3 percent. Fifty percent is considered good.

ODDS AND ENDS: The Lightning has been stopped on 13 consecutive penalty shots since Rob Zamuner converted against the Islanders in November 1997. Defenseman Darren Rumble and left wing Andre Roy were scratched.
