But this year's crew hasn't even produced decent locker room material. The most head-turning comments probably came from Panthers special teamer Jarrod Cooper, who Tuesday declared his love for pop star Christina Aguilera.

The host committee's official site already is counting down the 374 days until its Super Bowl and offering online registration for an estimated 8,000 volunteers. The site is a little behind the times, though, promising visitors it has a media presentation at "this year's Super Bowl in San Diego."
