Pinellas County Commissioner Barbara Sheen Todd will discuss the future of water with a former U.S. Secretary of the Interior today in Washington, D.C.
Todd was invited to serve on a three-person panel at the two-day conference sponsored by the National Council for Science and the Environment, which begins today. Todd serves on the board of the not-for-profit agency.
She will join Bruce Babbitt, the former secretary of the interior and Arizona governor, and Mohamed El-Ashry, CEO for Global Environment Facility, in a round table discussion about sustainable water use. Maurice Strong, under secretary general for the United Nations, will moderate.
