A firefighter sprays water underneath a mobile home where a fire started in the subflooring. Firefighters from the Clearwater and Largo fire departments extinguished the stubborn fire by cutting a hole in the floor from inside and crawling under the home from the outside. Clearwater police Detective John Diebel said the fire started about 10:30 a.m. Thursday and was put out quickly. The inside of the home, a rental property, sustained little fire damage. The current renters packed up and moved elsewhere, Diebel said.
