GOVERNMENT AGENDA

2025 TRANSPORTATION PLAN: A public meeting will provide an update on Hillsborough County's long-range transportation plan and comprehensive plan. These are the overall laws governing where roads will be improved, where utilities will be extended and how land may be developed. Representatives from the county's Planning Commission will gather suggestions from residents to identify community issues and concerns. The meetings will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the University Area Community Center, 14013 N 22nd Ave. Call 273-3774 ext. 318.

TRAFFIC CALMING: As part of the county's Residential Traffic Control Program, a public meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday to discuss traffic calming along Paddock Ave. Traffic problems exist from Lake Ellen Drive to Fletcher Ave., near Dale Mabry Highway. The meeting will at be Lake Magdalene Elementary School, 2002 Pine Lake Drive. Based on this meeting, a recommendation on solving the traffic problem will be given to county commissioners. PUBLIC MEETING: Traffic problems along Wilson Circle will be the topic of discussion at a public meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday. Residents are encouraged to attend to voice their concerns about the problem that exists from Dale Mabry Highway to Geraci Road. The meeting will be at Schwarzkopf Elementary School, 18333 Calusa Trace Blvd. Call 272-5275.
