GOOD FOR YOU

James E. Douse, son of Samuel and Crystal Pruitt of St. Petersburg, auditioned for and earned membership in the Florida A&M Marching Band at Florida A&M University.

A 2004 St. Petersburg High School graduate, Douse was a member of the marching band, music honor society and wrestling team.

Douse will play the alto saxophone and plans to major in music.

Eva Marie Austin, daughter of Deborah F. Austin of Seminole and James D. and Alice A. Austin of St. Petersburg, graduated from Florida State University with a bachelor's degree in biological sciences and a bachelor's degree in humanities.

Austin, the 2000 valedictorian of Osceola High School, recently received her "white coat" in a welcoming ceremony at the University of South Florida College of Medicine.

Noelle Williams, daughter of Drs. Sarah and Larry Williams of St. Petersburg, has joined the Atlanta Ballet Company as a full-time ballerina.

Williams, who completed her first two years of high school at St. Petersburg High School, graduated from the North Carolina School of the Arts in May 2004. She recently had her first professional ballet performance in Manteo, N.C.
