Volunteer instructor Don Cozby, 74, plays the violin with Rosalie Bartoloma, 76, Thursday during the fiddle and strings class at the Cares Elfers Senior Center. The class, which is held from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Thursdays, offers instruction in violin, viola, cello and mandolin and is open to the public at a cost of $2. "It's the kind of instrument that you can put your soul into," Bartoloma said of the violin. "You've got to feel it."
