Reporters gather around the Renault Wind concept car, above, on the second of two media days at the Paris Motor Show Friday. At right, a model poses in a Giugiaro Alessandero Volta concept car. Among the show's highlights: built-in air fresheners, an airless tire, an alarm that goes off when a car drifts out of its lane and a variety of automobiles that run on natural gas. The show, inaugurated by French President Jacques Chirac Friday and open to the public starting today, offers a glimpse into the future of driving. Automakers are preparing to announce about 60 new models and other innovations at the 16-day event, which runs through Oct. 10. Some 1.5-million visitors are expected. STORY, 7D
