WOMEN'S SOCCER: Virginia scored two minutes into Friday's game and beat Florida State 1-0. It was the Seminoles' third home loss in the past six years. USF postponed today's game against Cincinnati because of the threat of Hurricane Jeanne. It has not been rescheduled. The Bulls lost to Louisville 1-0 on Friday. Stephanie Freemanscored the winner as the visiting Gators beat Alabama 1-0 on Friday.

VOLLEYBALL: Florida set an NCAA record by winning its 107th consecutive match, defeating host Arkansas 28-30, 30-22, 30-23, 30-18 on Friday. Host UCF earned its second straight win against a state rival, 30-28, 28-30, 30-21, 32-30 over USF on Friday. Tampa defeated Saint Leo 3-0 on Friday.
