Green Bay's Brett Favre became the third member of the 4,000-completion club Sunday.
Favre entered the game with 3,999 career completions. He joined Dan Marino and John Elway as the only men to reach that level when he connected with Javon Walker for a 6-yard completion on the Packers' second offensive play.
Favre ranks third all time in completions. Marino has the record with 4,967 completions, Elway is second at 4,123.
Later in the series, Favre hooked up with Walker on a 36-yard touchdown pass. It marked the 28th straight game Favre has thrown a touchdown, tying Dave Krieg for the third-longest streak in NFL history. Favre broke a fourth-place tie with Peyton Manning and Chris Chandler.
Meanwhile, in the Packers' loss to the Colts, linebacker Nick Rogers left with an ankle injury.
BEARS: Linebacker Brian Urlacher was out with a pulled hamstring, the first time in his career he's been sidelined. Hunter Hillenmeyer started in Urlacher's place. Since becoming a starter in the third game of his rookie season in 2000, Urlacher had started 64 straight games.
COLTS: Safety Idrees Bashir left the game in the third quarter with a groin injury.
DOLPHINS: Running back Lamar Gordon was sidelined in the first quarter with a left shoulder injury after a jarring tackle by Steelers safety Chris Hope. The Dolphins were already without running back Travis Minor and fullbacks Rob Konrad and Sammy Morris, all inactive because of injuries.
EAGLES: Fullback Jon Ritchie (knee), guard Jermane Mayberry (torn biceps) and tight end L.J. Smith (shoulder) will be examined today.
49ERS: Receiver Brandon Lloyd was inactive because of a strained groin. Lloyd, who became a starter in his second season after the departure of Terrell Owens, has five catches for 36 yards this season. Defensive end Josh Cooper was signed and activated before kickoff.
GIANTS: Running back Ron Dayne did not play because of a swollen calf. The former Heisman Trophy winner, who has gained 57 yards on 22 carries this season, hurt the calf against Washington last week.
JAGUARS: Former Hillsborough High cornerback Juran Bolden hurt his shoulder in the first quarter.
LIONS: Running back Kevin Jones (right ankle) and fullback Cory Schlesinger (hamstring) were injured early. Reserve cornerback Rod Babers broke his collarbone.
RAVENS: Cornerback Deion Sanders was inactive because of a strained hamstring. He hurt the hamstring while covering Pittsburgh's Plaxico Burress on a long pass Sept. 19.
TITANS: X-rays on safety Lance Schulters' left foot were negative. He was hurt in the third quarter and didn't return.
VIKINGS: Pro Bowl center Matt Birksprained his left ankle in the second quarter, and the Vikings lost two starting linebackers to first-half injuries: Chris Claiborne(strained left calf) and E.J. Henderson(sprained left knee). Wide receiver Marcus Robinson aggravated a hamstring injury he first suffered in training camp. Morten Andersen broke George Blanda's record for games played when he missed a 46-yard field goal in the first quarter. It was his 341st appearance. He has kicked for the Saints, Falcons, Giants, Chiefs and Vikings in his 23-year career.
