PLAYHOUSE 19: Ticket holders who missed the Saturday or Sunday performances of Count Dracula can contact the box office to make arrangements to receive a ticket voucher for another show later in the season.
Anyone who missed one of these performances must bring the tickets to the theater to arrange an exchange.
Because of personal commitments, several performers in Count Dracula were unavailable to continue the show at a later time.
"We sincerely regret that season ticket holders and other patrons of community theater missed this wonderful play," said Shelby Weingarten, president of the Playhouse 19 board of directors. "However, several options are available to ticket holders which can be exercised by coming to the theater in person with the unused tickets."
The next show at Playhouse 19 is the comedy musical Pump Boys and Dinettes, which runs Thursdays through Sundays from Nov. 4 to 21. Playhouse 19 is at 865 U.S. 19 just north of the airport. Box office hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Call the box office at 563-1333.
BLOOD: The string of hurricanes has dramatically affected LifeSouth Community Blood Centers. Blood drives have been canceled, centers have closed and the number of donations gave dropped as a result.
The center asks that all eligible residents make donating blood a part of their hurricane recovery plans. Platelet donations are most needed in the days following a storm.
