ANNIVERSARIES

Virginia and Charles Costello of Bayonet Point celebrated their 50th anniversary Sept. 26, 2004. The couple moved to the area in 1989 from Closter, N.J.

Mrs. Costello is a homemaker, and Mr. Costello, a retired Army captain, is an accountant and a retired chief financial officer.

The couple are members of St. Michael Catholic Church in Hudson. He also belongs to the Royal Order of Elks, Knights of Columbus, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and other groups.

A party for family, friends and neighbors was held Sept. 27 at Heritage Pines Country Club in Hudson to commemorate the anniversary.

Catherine and Frank Kosloski of Dade City observed their 60th anniversary Nov. 5.

They moved to Florida in 1985 from the East Lansing area of Michigan.

Mrs. Kosloski is retired from Oldsmobile Motor Co., and Mr. Kosloski is retired from the Michigan State Police Department.

They enjoy traveling. An anniversary party for family and friends was held at the Elks Lodge in Zephyrhills on Nov. 13.

Lilac and Lawrence McCurdy of Dade City celebrated their 70th anniversary Nov. 10. After 30 years as seasonal residents, the couple recently decided to remain in Pasco County year round.

Mrs. McCurdy is a retired nurse, and Mr. McCurdy retired from Ford Motor Co. after 30 years.

An open house for family and friends was held Nov. 20 at the Citrus Hill RV Park community center to commemorate the anniversary.

Florence and Mario Calvagna of Port Richey celebrated their 50th anniversary Sept. 4 by going to Universal Orlando with family.

Marie and Peter Zarakas of Tarpon Springs observed 50 years of marriage on July 4. They celebrated the anniversary in Brooklin, Maine, with family and friends.
