In an effort to keep the general public, students and potential students informed of all offerings and activities of the Citrus County Campus of Central Florida Community College, WYKE-TV is providing air time for two 30-minute shows each week.

CFCC In Action is hosted by Dr. Torri Lilly, provost/vice-president of the Citrus County Campus. It airs at 6 p.m. every Monday evening. Lifelong Learning at CFCC is hosted by Rob Wolf, director of continuing education and noncredit programs. His program airs at 5:30 p.m. Mondays. When possible, demonstrations are given on what students will learn in a class. Call 746-6721.

Liberty Tax Service is offering free "Rapid Tax Classes" to those interested in tax preparation, including the latest tax changes and how to prepare an individual income tax form. No prior tax experience is necessary to enroll and take the class. Classes begin today. After completing the class, students can apply for seasonal employment with Liberty Tax Service. The Citrus County Tourism Development Office is coordinating the 2005 State Fair booth featuring Citrus County's amenities. Individuals are invited to volunteer to man the booth and distribute materials that are provided by the Development Council and Builder's Association. The fair is from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Feb. 10-21. Habitat for Humanity has an "Everything for the Home Store" at 3685 E Forest Drive, just west of Inverness. All profits from the store's sales help underwrite Habitat's efforts to provide affordable housing for low-income families in the county. Contractors with excess building supplies or materials removed in a remodeling project are encouraged to donate those items. Call 341-1800.
