Pasco Sheriff's Office child protective investigator Kevin S. Wylie is one of 30 people in Florida chosen to participate in a highly competitive Child Welfare Leadership Program. The program's goal is to ensure that current high potential employees are prepared for leadership positions within child welfare. Currently, he represents the Sheriff's Office in dependency court proceedings involving abused, abandoned and neglected children.

Russell T. Bain, MD, has been chosen as a 2004 Ronald Reagan Republican Gold Medal Award winner. Only an elite group of business and professional people were nominated to receive the award before a selection committee reached a final decision.
