Someone may not have wanted to go back to Tarpon Springs High School Monday after the holiday break. When school maintenance worker John Napoli returned Sunday to prepare the grounds for the new semester, he found 48 door locks on nine buildings and one portable covered with caulk, according to police. The vandalism occurred sometime between Dec. 30 and Sunday. Repairs cost $300, according to police, and there were no suspects or witnesses. Police put out an extra patrol for the school, which opened on schedule.
