Commissioners are increasing fees for boaters who rent slips at the Dunedin Municipal Marina. Starting in February, fees will increase by $22.16 per slip. Renters had been paying $72.84 a month. The money will go into an enterprise fund. The fund pays the operational expenses for the marina, which has 196 slips. Renters also pay a fee based on the square footage of their slips. That fee, which is used to fund large scale projects such as dredging, remains unchanged. The last significant rate increase was in 1997.
