Pool balls, false teeth and shoe figure in arrests

A woman arrested last week and accused of throwing pool balls and her false teeth during a bar fight was arrested again Monday, this time after authorities say she threw a shoe in her Citrus County jail cell and set off a fire sprinkler. Rebecca J. Banks, 45, threw her shower shoe _ a hard plastic slipper _ and struck the fire sprinkler head, activating it and causing a stream of water to flow into the cell, according to her arrest report. When a corrections officer stepped inside to remove her, Banks punched him in the eye, the report stated. He was not seriously injured and did not require medical treatment, according to the report. Banks was arrested on charges of battery on a law enforcement officer and preventing a firefighter from extinguishing a fire. Her bail on the new charges was set at $7,000.
