SAY IT

Inverness Primary School third-graders were asked:

"You have finished half of the school year already. What have you learned?"

LOGAN VINCENT, 8

"I've learned division. I've learned how to multiply and to study about the weather."

AUSTIN RENAUD, 9

"I've learned how to do multiplication. I learned how to spell more words. I learned how to help people. If they ask for help, ask the teacher if you can help them. I also learned how to do prompts. I learned that people have two feelings (if they have been hurt), a sad feeling and an angry feeling. I learned that you should have fun and listen to the teacher and you might even learn something."

AVERY GOOGE, 8

"I learned division and times. I learned new math games and how to write in cursive and how to do an essay, and I learned verbs and adjectives."

STUART MALONEY, 9

"I've learned how to write cursive and my name in cursive and how to do division, multiplication, write better essays, how to write prompts and bigger math problems."
