Keeping the King alive takes a lot of heart

Jeremy Ewbank packs up after his tribute show to Elvis Monday at the Florida State Fair. By day Ewbank works in his carpet cleaning business. Nights, he pays tribute to the King. Ewbank is one of eight Elvis impersonators at this year's state fair. Yep, eight. "I'm different," says Ewbank, 36, "because I have heart." Heart is good, but so are blankets. Only about a dozen people braved the chill Monday night to watch him perform at the Tampa Electric Community Stage. You could Elvis' breath as he sang One Night With You. Ewbank, whose father sang country music, entered his first Elvis competition when he was 21. He appears again tonight at 8 at the fair near Tampa.
