She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and came here 13 years ago from Clearwater. She was a homemaker and attended the Eagles Landing Baptist Church of Port Richey. CLEVER, VALJEAN, 79, of St. Petersburg, formerly of Spring Hill, died Sunday (Feb. 12, 2006) at her daughter's home under hospice care in St. Petersburg. She was born in Vandergrift, Pa., and moved to St. Petersburg in 1961 from her native state. She moved to Spring Hill in 1988 and returned to St. Petersburg a few months ago. She was a retired bookkeeper for Eckerd Corporation. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Spring Hill, Eastern Star, the Pennsylvania Club, and the Red Hat Society. Survivors include a daughter, Cheryl Campbell, St. Petersburg; a sister, Lillian Thomas, Pennsylvania; and two grandchildren, Ryan Campbell and Kerri Biernat, both of St. Petersburg. HEATHCOAT, JOSHUA "JOSH," 13, of Brooksville, died Saturday (Feb. 11, 2006) at home. He was born in Gainesville and he lived all his life in Brooksville. He was a student at Powell Middle School and was a member of the Christian Fellowship Church, where he worked with the Puppet Team and Junior Church. She was a member of the Jolly Friends Club of Holy Cross Lutheran Church and was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church. ORAVETZ, CATHERINE A., 85, of Brooksville and formerly of Largo, died Monday (Feb. 13, 2006) in the Brooksville Health Care Center. She was born in Chicago and came here in 1949 from Montana. She retired after 17 years as a lab technician for General Electric in Largo and was a real estate agent with Clearwater-Largo Realtors. She was a member of St. Dunstan's Episcopal Church of Largo, where she was active in its care ministry and the Order of St. Luke. Survivors include a daughter, Lauren Cathy Burbank, Brooksville; three sons, Richard David Rusher, Clearwater, Ralph Deward Rusher III, Cat Cay, Cayman Islands, and Robert Dwight Rusher, Louisiana; a sister, Dorothy Ann Tift, Sturgis, S.D.; 13 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. He was a sales manager for Prudential Financial with 30 years of service and an Army veteran of World War II, achieving the rank of major. He was a member of Brookridge Golf Association, Lions Club and St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. He was a life member of American Legion High Point.
