THE SKINNY: Crystal River and Citrus will send three wrestlers, though the Hurricanes won the region meet Saturday while the Pirates finished eighth. Citrus took first because of points scored by athletes who didn't advance. While the team was important in the regional, competing at state is more about individual glory. Hurricanes sophomore Bryant Fisher (112 pounds) and seniors Mike Musto (152) and Josh Walter (171) each will be trying to place. For the Pirates, senior Joe Bertine (145), junior Corey Neal (125) and sophomore Brandon Jones (112) are returning to state for a second time. Lecanto will send one - Dustin Whitelaw (160), who fought off an injury to finish third in his region meet.
