A CROP WORTH CRAVING

Mike Zervos, 81, of Dunedin shows off some of his tangerines, above, on Tuesday. "What a crop this year," said Zervos, a native of the Greek island of Crete. "Can you believe their size?" Zervos came to the United States in 1955 and has always enjoyed growing things. "If I don't have ground under my nails, I would stop living," he said. He has 15 grafted citrus trees in his back yard, including several that grow multiple varieties of citrus. "I enjoy grafting fruit trees; I've grafted over several thousand for people in Pinellas County over the years."
