HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Spring Hill recently announced that it now offers patients a new rehabilitation device - the AutoAmbulator.

The AutoAmbulator is a therapeutic machine designed to help rehabilitate patients who experience difficulty walking.

Developed by HealthSouth Corp., the AutoAmbulator is a sophisticated treadmill device that allows patients with conditions that limit walking and balance the ability to replicate normal walking patterns. The Food and Drug Administration in 2002 granted HealthSouth permission to begin using the AutoAmbulator.

KioskPros Multimedia Division, 4662 Commercial Way, Spring Hill, announced that it has been awarded a contract from Orlando's Florida Mall Hotel.

KioskPros Multimedia Division has been given responsibility for the sale, installation, logistics, technology follow-up and staff training of 520 flat-screen LCD televisions. KioskPros will be responsible for the placement of televisions in every hotel room, lobby and conference room at the hotel.

Superior Auto Centers, a locally owned and operated Goodyear dealer, has opened a new location at 11021 Northcliffe Blvd., Spring Hill.

The new center will offer complete automotive service with certified technicians, state-of-the-art equipment and Goodyear, Dunlop and Kelly tires. The center will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Domenic Maglio, founder and executive director of Wider Horizons School in Spring Hill, was recently invited to speak to the parents and faculty of the World of Knowledge School, a Montessori school in Holiday.

Maglio's topic was "The Cultural Moral War's Impact on Parents and Teachers." Maglio is the author of Invasion Within: Overcoming the Elitists' Attack on Moral Values and the American Way, a book published by Regnery Publishing.

Dr. Michael A. Pikos of Coastal Jaw Surgery, 4372 Commercial Way, Spring Hill, recently lectured on dental implants and advanced bone grafting at the 13th International Symposium in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

In the field of oral implantology and implant dentistry, Pikos is both a clinician and educator. He has lectured and given presentations of advanced live surgical courses over the past 15 years both nationally and internationally.

John and Lily Mundreanu recently reopened one of Brooksville's first restaurants and renamed it John's Corner Restaurant. The restaurant, at 711 S Broad Street, was originally known as Spencer's when it opened in 1952.

The Mundreanus have more than 23 years of restaurant experience, most recently as the co-owners of Harmony Family Restaurant in Masaryktown for the past 11 years.

John's Corner Restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday. The restaurant features the Mundreanus' specialized dishes, including prime rib; pork, chicken or veal schnitzel, and homemade soups. A banquet room is available for large parties.

Nicholas Stoffel is the newest member to join the firm of Roger Jacobs, CPA, 704 Ponce de Leon Blvd., Brooksville.

Stoffel is a 2000 graduate of Central High School and recently graduated from the University of South Florida with a bachelor's degree in accounting. He lives in Weeki Wachee.
