Speed skater Shani Davis took a bit of the drama out of today's 10,000 meters by deciding to withdraw, leaving 5,000-meter gold medalist Chad Hedrick without his most bitter rival. Also decided during tonight's prime time coverage will be the men's four-man bobsled, in which driver Todd Hays, who won silver in 2002, will try to add to his medal collection.
The traditional post-competition figure skating exhibition airs tonight and will include medal winners and other top skaters, though it might be more interesting if Mary Carillo were on hand to deliver her Olympics fashion commentary.
Wake up and check out the U.S. men's curling team, which will play Britain for the bronze medal live at 7 a.m. on MSNBC. The entertaining team of Don Chevrier (a Palm Harbor resident) and Don Duguid will call the action.
The two men's hockey semifinal games will air live at 10:35 a.m. (Czech Republic vs. Sweden, MSNBC) and 3:05 p.m. (Finland vs. Russia, USA Network).
