MILLER GOES 0-FOR-5

The United States ski team pinned many of its Alpine hopes on Bode Miller. But Miller struggled through his races, finishing only two of the five he entered. A look at the outcomes of his events.

SLALOM: DNF

Miller straddles a gate near the top of the course Saturday in his first run and does not finish.

GOLD MEDAL: Benjamin Raich, Austria

DOWNHILL: 5th

Miller experimented with newly designed skis and made two small mistakes at the bottom of his run.

GOLD MEDAL: Antoine Deneriaz, France

COMBINED: DSQ

He had the lead after the downhill, but was disqualified after missing a gate in the first slalom run.

GOLD MEDAL: Ted Ligety, United States

SUPER-G: DNF

In one of his best events, he slammed into a gate and then skidded off the course.

GOLD MEDAL: Kjetil Andre Aamodt, Norway

GIANT SLALOM: 6th

A sloppy first run was followed by a respectable second run, but it was not enough.
