Wichita State holds on late to win Missouri Valley title

Kyle Wilson scored 18 and Sean Ogirri added 16 as Wichita State beat Illinois State 64-57 to win the Missouri Valley championship.

After the Redbirds rallied to tie at 39, Sean Ogirri hit back-to-back 3-pointers for the Shockers.

Greg Dilliard scored four as Illinois State got within two, but Kyle Wilson had eight points in an 11-6 run to seal it.

EVANSVILLE 77, IND. ST. 75: Bradley Strickland had 20 points and 13 rebounds to lead the visiting Purple Aces.

MISSOURI ST. 60, CREIGHTON 54: Kellen Easley made six straight free throws in the final 1:31 to lead the host Bears.

OKLA. ST. 74, TEXAS TECH 63: JamesOn Curry scored 18 as the Cowboys won their second straight at home since coach Eddie Sutton went on medical leave. Sutton got his 796th career Division I win despite his absence.

BAYLOR 91, IOWA ST. 73: Patrick Fields scored 22 off the bench for the host Bears, who had five in double figures.

TEXAS A&M 66, NEB. 55: Acie Law scored 19 as the Aggies picked up their fifth straight win - their longest Big 12 streak.

COLO. 78, MISSOURI 60: Richard Roby and Jayson Obazuaye scored 15 each as the host Buffaloes' two-game losing skid ended.

PENN ST. 68, N'WESTERN 55: Travis Parker and Geary Claxton each scored 14 as the host Nittany Lions went 20-of-24 from the free-throw line.

ARIZ. 68, ARIZ. ST. 47: Ivan Radenovic had 14 points and the host Wildcats forced 26 turnovers and allowed 18 field goals.

STANFORD 39, WASH. ST. 37: Anthony Goods scored on a tip-in with 3.7 seconds for the visiting Cardinal. The 76 total points was the lowest in a Pac-10 game since Oregon State defeated Oregon 29-23 on March 23, 1984 (prior to the shot clock).

USC 89, OREGON ST. 84: Nick Young scored a career-high 33 and had 14 rebounds in the Trojans' final scheduled home game at the 46-year-old Sports Arena.

BUCKNELL 70, ARMY 47: Charles Lee scored 18 to lead four players in double figures for the host Bison, who forced 17 turnovers and outrebounded the Black Knights 38-27.

AIR FORCE 68, UNLV 55: Antoine Hood scored a season-high 25 as the Falcons got their school-record 23rd win.

SAN DIEGO ST. 73, N.M. 66: Brandon Heath had a career-high eight 3-pointers and season-high 32 points as the visiting Aztecs clinched at least a share of the Mountain West title.
