Along with honoring African-American achievers like Rosa Parks and the Red Tails, the first black fighter pilots, the Celebration of Black History Month at the Senior Citizens Club of Hernando in Spring Hill also displayed threads of heritage on Saturday. Oigbokie, manager of Ethnic Extravaganza of Tampa. LEFT: Cora Williams perused some of the fashions before the show. Vendors sold jewelry, art, flowers and cosmetics. The event was sponsored by the African American Club of Hernando Inc. and drew about 170 guests who were treated to a soul food buffet provided by Ann Morrell and her staff.
