A 2-year-old boy was airlifted to Tampa General Hospital after his grandmother found him unresponsive in the family pool Monday.
The hospital is not releasing the condition of Brighton Belinski, who lives with his mother, Sandra Belinski, and grandparents in Seffner.
His grandmother, Sharon Belinski, couldn't find the boy in the house Monday morning and found a rear door unlocked, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office. She found the boy floating near some balls and toys in the pool.
She pulled the boy out of the pool while her husband called 911.
As of early Monday evening, Brighton was still at the hospital, according to the Sheriff's Office.
