LEMIEUX UPDATE

Penguins owner Mario Lemieux had a medical procedure designed to provide a long-term fix for his irregular heartbeat. A catheter was inserted through a blood vessel and was used to destroy a small section of heart tissue that was causing the abnormal electrical impulses that disrupt the heart's normal rhythm. The team said Lemieux, 40, who retired in January, should be released from the hospital today and resume normal activities shortly.
