REALE, JOSEPH F., 76, of Hernando, died Saturday (Feb. 25, 2006) at home under the care of his family. Born in Malaiga, N.J., he came here 21 years ago from Mays Landing, N.J. He was a retired hydraulic mechanic employed by Wheatons Plastic in New Jersey and was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was Catholic. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Janet Simone; a son, Joseph F. Reale Jr., Inverness; three daughters, Mary Gresham, Lake Panasoffkee, Joann Mattox, Hernando, and Lucille Morgan, Rocky Mount, N.C.; two sisters and three brothers; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. RICHIE, RICHARD A. "DICK," 70, of Inverness, died Saturday (Feb. 25, 2006). Born in Ojus, he came to this area in 1972 from Fort Lauderdale. He was an Army veteran and was retired from the contracting/construction business. He was a member of the Hernando VFW Post and Floral City Anglers. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Barbara; three sons, Michael, Hernando, David, Brandon, and Timothy, Ocala; a daughter, Terri G. Richie, Orlando; and five grandchildren. Chas. E. RUITER, ALFRED CORNELIS, 78, of Beverly Hills, died Thursday (Feb. 16, 2006) in Beverly Hills. He came here in 1987 from his native Amsterdam, Holland. He was a certified coffee broker. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth A.; two daughters, Odette Corinne Ruiter, Holland, and Rachel Marie Nemeth, Beverly Hills; a stepdaughter, Patricia Holleman, a brother, Paul R., and a sister, Nel VanBalveren, all of Holland; and five grandchildren.
