SEASON SERIES: The Lightning is 1-1-1.

WHAT TO WATCH FOR: The Lightning has been off since Feb. 11 for the Olympic break. After tonight, it has 23 regular-season games left. Four are against the Panthers. Lightning defenseman Darryl Sydor will become the 205th player and 73rd defenseman to play 1,000 games. The NHL and Lightning will host a pregame ceremony honoring Sydor. Czech Olympians Pavel Kubina and Vinny Prospal did not practice Monday, but they are back in town. Swedish Olympian Fredrik Modin was due back Monday night. All Lightning players should be at today's morning skate. The Lightning won six of seven before the break and has won five in a row at home. The Panthers have not won or lost consecutive games since Jan. 21, a span of nine games. They are without forwards Gary Roberts (sprained knee) and Stephen Weiss (wrist).
