GRALLO, LUCILLE E., 87, of Gulfport and St. Petersburg, died Monday (April 10, 2006) at St. Anthony's Hospital. She was born in New York City, was raised in Westport, Conn., and moved to Gulfport as a winter resident 30 years ago from New Canaan, Conn. She was a homemaker and member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. She was active in dancing at Gulfport Beach. Survivors include her husband, Hugh Whitty Jr.; a son, Samuel Grallo, Wallingford, Conn.; two daughters, Beverly Westcott, Rochester, Vt., and Sharon Therriault, South Yarmouth, Mass.; a sister, Florence O'Hara, Norwalk, Conn.; three stepdaughters, Lucille Neill, Virginia; Catherine Kingsbury, Florida; and Elizabeth Davis, Maine; a stepson, Hugh Whitty III, Maine; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson. TRIPODI, CHARLENE K., 25, of Gulfport, died Tuesday (April 11, 2006) at Bayfront Medical Center. She was born in St. Petersburg and was a lifelong resident of Gulfport. She attended Tyrone Middle School, Dixie Hollins High School and Cutting Edge Beauty School. She was Catholic. She enjoyed swimming and cooking. Survivors include her mother, Donita Davis, Gulfport; her father and stepmother, Edward and Linda Tripodi, Winter Garden; her stepfather, Gary Riddick, St. Petersburg; a sister, Denise Caswell, Gainesville; two stepsisters, Shawn and Andi; her grandmother, Margaret Tripodi, South Pasadena; and her companion, Antony Becker, Tampa.
