Class on accounting software next month

CFCC, with the Citrus County chapter of SCORE (Counselors to America's Small Business), will offer a "Beginning QuickBooks" course from 1 to 5 p.m. Dec. 1 and 8 at the Citrus campus, Building L2, Room 201B, 3800 S Lecanto Highway, Lecanto.

QuickBooks is accounting software used by more than 2-million small businesses. This course will acquaint students with the basic capabilities of the program and will combine lecture with hands-on instruction.

Students sought for real estate courses

CFCC and the Realtors Institute of Citrus County are accepting registration for real estate courses that begin in January at the Realtors Association of Citrus County, 714 S Scarboro Ave., Lecanto.

- Real Estate Principles & Practices, which is the required course for the new practitioner, will be offered in day and evening classes beginning Jan. 8. Day classes are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in nine sessions between Jan. 8 and 25. Evening classes will be 6 to 10 p.m., Jan. 8 through Feb. 28. These classes will be repeated in April.

- 30-Hour Post-License Broker: Management will be 6 to 10 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, Jan. 9 through Feb. 1.

- 45-Hour Post-License Sales Associate will be held in February with day and evening classes. The 14-hour continuing education classes required for license renewal will also be offered.
