The agency runs a thrift store where donated clothing is sold to farm workers and the community. CARES (Community Aging and Retirement Services Inc.) Hudson Bayonet Point Enrichment Center: 12417 Clock Tower Parkway, is an active senior center that promotes quality of life and independence through health, social and supportive services. Needed: volunteers in the cafe, which is open to the public, dishwashers, maintenance workers, a receptionist and computer instructors. Holy Ground: 8835 Denton Ave. provides support groups, parenting and life-skills classes and shelter for homeless people.
