Titans' huge comebackstuns Giants

Published Nov. 27, 2006

Adam "Pacman" Jones and Vince Young started the biggest fourth-quarter comeback in franchise history, and Rob Bironas' 49-yard field goal with six seconds left capped it.

Down 21-0, Jones returned an interception 26 yards to the New York 46. It almost didn't matter, but Frank Walker drew a personal foul for a high hit on Young as he ran out of bounds short of a first down on fourth and 9. Three plays later, Bo Scaife caught a 4-yard touchdown.

Jones returned a punt 23 yards to the Giants 36, and Young capped the drive with a 1-yard run. After another punt, Young led an eight-play, 76-yard drive capped by his 14-yard touchdown to Brandon Jones with 44 seconds left.

The game appeared headed to overtime until Jones intercepted Eli Manning again, this time at the Giants 49. Young hit Scaife for 11 yards and Jones for 7 to set up Bironas.
