The following streets will be affected: Spring Hill Drive, from Hasting Avenue to Alley Way (at the Century 21 office); Maguire Avenue, from Spring Hill to Maderia Street; Anchor Avenue, from Akron Street to Maderia; and Akron, from Escobar Avenue to Maguire. Entries sought for essay contest
State Sen. Mike Fasano is accepting entries for his 13th annual legislative essay contest for high school students. Two winners will be selected to serve for one week each in Tallahassee as a page in the Florida Senate during the 2007 legislative session. Students ages 15 to 18 in public, private or home-school programs are eligible to participate. Essays must be at least 100 words, answering the question: "What is the most important issue that Gov.-elect Charlie Crist should tackle once he is inaugurated and why?"
