Jewish school has information session

The Pinellas County Jewish Day School, 1775 S Highland Ave., Clearwater, will host an information session about the middle school program at 7 p.m. Dec. 6. The school offers transitional kindergarten through Grade 8 and is accredited by the Florida Council of Independent Schools and the Florida Kindergarten Council.

It's time to register students new to district

On Friday, parents of incoming kindergarten students or other children who will be new to Pinellas County schools in August can begin registering their children at a Family Education and Information Center to receive a student identification number. Only registered students will be able to apply during the application period, which is March 5-24, for choice attendance area schools. The family education centers are open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, and are located at 1101 Marshall St., Clearwater, 298-2858, and 3420 Eighth Ave. S, St. Petersburg, 552-1595.
