NEW BANK BRANCH TO OPEN WITH A BLOCK PARTY

AmSouth Bank will celebrate the opening of the new Park Boulevard branch with a neighborhood block party from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. The new branch is at 7401 Park Blvd. in Pinellas Park.

The celebration includes free lunch and prize giveaways, discounts at area stores, a giant slide, pet adoptions with the local pet rescue organization and an opportunity to have your child's photo taken with Santa Claus.

Other activities include a golf swing analysis by a pro, five-minute massage and more. Visitors can enter for a chance to win a $500 shopping spree or one of eight chances to grab cash in the Money Machine.

Food store to open

A grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Amber Glen Food Depot will be held at 10 a.m. Dec. 8.

Owners Del and Patti Johnson, Patti Fiedler and Kehia Jacobs will provide refreshments. The depot is at 8801 66th St., Unit H, in Pinellas Park.
