Workers from Belfor, a restoration services company, load up smoke- and water-damaged furniture Tuesday from Le Chateau European Antique Imports at 2201 Seventh Ave. As they removed furniture from the building, they lined it up along N 22nd Street at Seventh. Tampa Fire Rescue Capt. Bill Wade said the intersection will be closed while the city removes traffic lights beginning at 7 a.m. Demolition is likely to follow Wednesday, pending approval by the Fire Marshal's Office. Sunday night's fire sent flames 50 feet into the air, leaving the building too weak to stand. Investigators are assessing what might have caused the fire, which set Tampa's skyline aglow. Its second floor was vacant.
