English Farce 'Noises Off!' The Clearwater High Drama Department is presenting Michael Frayn's play, Noises Off! (a theatrical term for sound heard in the stage wings), at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Dec. 8 and 9 at the Clearwater High auditorium, 540 S Hercules Ave. The three-act play within a play is performed in a two-story English cottage. Laugh With 'The Red Hot Lovers': The Francis Wilson Playhouse is presenting Neil Simon's comedy Last of the Red Hot Lovers Thursday and Dec. 8, 9, 10, 14, 15, 16 and 17 at the theater, 302 Seminole St., Clearwater. A family man and successful business owner, Barney Cashman, has a midlife crisis and attempts to fulfill his fantasies with three very different women. Clyde Butcher Exhibit: "The American Wilderness" - an exhibit of 37 large black and white photographs of such diverse environments as Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado and Big Cypress National Preserve in Florida - will be open through Jan. 28 at the Gulf Coast Museum of Art, 12211 Walsingham Road, Largo. More Historic House Tours: The Clearwater Historical Society has added tour hours for the historic Plumb House Museum, 1380 S Martin Luther King Ave., Clearwater. Free tours are available from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. the first and third Thursdays of the month all year, and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday during December. The Plumb House, an original Cracker-style house built in 1896, was the birthplace of Clearwater's first schoolteacher, for whom the house is named. Inside are period furnishings, vintage photographic collections, artifacts and many documents of historical significance, including yearbooks from Clearwater High School. Donations are welcome.
