Chet and Annie Steen of Spring Hill were going south on U.S. 19 near Ranch Road for Christmas shopping and a haircut when a Red Cross vehicle was rear-ended and knocked in front of them, causing a chain reaction involving five cars. Both lanes were closed as helicopters picked up two injured people. The accident during Friday's morning rush hour delayed traffic for half an hour. "This is one expensive haircut." said Annie. "We should have stayed home," said Chet.
