Holiday carolers dressed as toy soldiers will belt out seasonal hits as machines blow fake snow around the park.
A sculptor will give ice carving demonstrations, while face painters make the rounds looking for fresh cheeks.
The winter fun is part of Seminole's seventh annual Winterfest, scheduled from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Seminole City Park, 7464 Ridge Road.
Seminole firefighters will sell hot dogs, hamburgers, chili, and hot chocolate. All proceeds will help local families in need.
The free festival also will feature Snow Mountain, a sledding hill constructed from a 10-ton block of ice, said Dwayne Crandall, the city's recreation program coordinator.
"It's a great family event, and it's grown every year," Crandall said.
Also, the "Lights of Seminole" hayride will whisk riders throughout neighborhoods aglow with holiday displays. It will depart in 25-minute intervals from the festival grounds.
Festivalgoers also will be encouraged to visit a "make it and take it" art tent, Crandall said.
Santa Claus arrives at 7 p.m. and will be available for photographs.
