Palms & Poinsettias set for today

Enjoy children's craft activities, holiday music, decorations, lighting the palm tree and Santa in the gazebo at Palms & Poinsettias from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Ulmer Park, 301 W Bay Drive. Breakfast and a picture with Santa

Kids can join Santa for breakfast and a photo from 9 to 10 a.m. and 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. today at the Rigsby Recreation Center, 605 Second St. N, Safety Harbor. Cost is $12 per child and $3 per adult and includes breakfast, a photo and a gift. Space is limited. To register, call (727) 724-1545.

Celebrate Christmas Dixieland style

The Clam Bayou Jazz Band, directed by Frank Greenstreet, will present Christmas music, Dixieland style, at 3 p.m. Dec. 10 in the community room at the Palm Harbor Library, 2330 Nebraska Ave. Light refreshments will be served. Call 784-3332 or 784-8908.

Candlelight tour of the Safford House

The annual Victorian candlelight tour of the Safford House Museum at 23 Parkin Court in Tarpon Springs is 5:30 to 8 p.m. today and Sunday.

Construction on the house began in 1883 for Anson P.K. Safford, one of the city's early developers and prominent resident. The house was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975. The tour includes live music and seasonal refreshments. Admission is $8. Call 937-1130.
