HOUSING MARKET STILL SLIDING

The housing market is still declining year over year - nationally, in Florida and locally, according to data reported Wednesday.

Single-family existing home sales in the Tampa Bay area are hovering near the state average, but Orlando and Miami came out worse. One surprise: Sarasota, which suffered one of the steepest drops in home prices, showed a small rebound in sales from last year.
